We do not want to work, but we want houses, cars, technology, we want clothes, to go to restaurants, to the cinema, on holidays… that is to say, we want businessmen, merchants and distributors. So we do not change for benefit, but for interest. Yes, I want my house, the car, the dog and the cat, the best phone, the best computer, clothes, the most expensive shoes or jewellery, to travel to the most exotic places, in exchange for nothing more than having to pay for it. It is a vicious circle. Impossible to contradict, difficult to ignore. There is a current that ensures all of this continues as it is, and it does so through forgetting. Because if one does not forget something, it means one has never lived it. That forgetting arrives every half century as has already been seen. History is hidden, forgotten, transformed. It happened in the past. None of us here had anything to do with the world wars. What I know is what I learned at school, instilled by the winning side, and through films and songs promoted by political interest. And so it has been for thousands of generations: slavery, nationalist and Christian inquisitions, genocide and rape in conquests, imperialism that has exploited the land as if it were a resource. Everything your nation has, it stole from someone. Nothing belongs to it, because it was never truly its own. However you look at it, not even the languages spoken with arrogance and superiority in the world have an original origin, but an appropriated one. Step by step, they have led humanity into the age of high technology through physical laws, elevating the lower to the higher. And they have become comfortable, governed by programmed laws, functioning perfectly alongside them.
